Nicole’s passion for a Green lifestyle began with an environmental science class in high school and has gained momentum over the years! She is always on the lookout for more ways to go Green and loves living in this supportive and collaborative eco-friendly city!
She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Women Studies. Currently she works as a receptionist, a server and the outreach coordinator for Do It Green! Minnesota. She has a passion for creating systems and manuals to help businesses run more efficiently and effectively.
She also has a passion for customer service because of her background in the Hospitality and Retail Industries. Moving into management roles, her dedication, enthusiasm, and organizational skills brought further success, including in the field of Event Planning for non-profits. She was a part of a team that created a new fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and between 2016-2017, gained valuable experience creating a variety of other successful events. When starting at Do It Green she pioneered the Green Coffee Talks event seeing an opportunity in the community for a collaborative and educational monthly gathering. When not working or volunteering she loves to rock climb, kayak, travel, read, and visit local restaurants and breweries with friends.
