Minneapolis Named Best Biking City

Our more than 120 miles of bikeways, many bike amenities and strong, vibrant bicycling community has prompted Bicycling magazine to name Minneapolis as America’s best bike city in its May, 2010 issue, stating that “The unforgiving and frigid city of Minneapolis is the country’s top spot to be an urban cyclist.” In the article, Minneapolis is noted for having a large and supportive biking community and extensive infrastructure in place for cyclists.
