Families can learn ways to make cloth diapering affordable and achievable to reduce waste with Minnesota Cloth Diaper Bank

Peace Paint will be offering face painting all day at the fair.

Nature Exploration Station – Discover a connection to nature with Do It Green! Minnesota.

Kindness Rocks – Write a message of kindness on a rock or postcard to share with someone in our community with Do It Green! Minnesota. Contributors include Doing Good Together, franciszka voeltz, and All Are Welcome Here.

Monarchs & Milkweed – Learn about the life of a monarch and make a milkweed seed ball with a Master Gardener.

Little Free Library – Learn about what Little Free Libraries are and how to start your own.

Sun Catchers – Color and make your own sun catcher with Earth Grown Crayons.

Eco Ornaments Craft – Make natural object ornaments with felted acorns and painted pine cones with Do It Green! MinnesotaPlay Area – Play on the toy mat or check out a toy bin with the Minneapolis Toy Library.


Reusable Silverware Sets – Make and take a reusable silverware pouch set with the Minneapolis-St Paul chapter of the American Sewing Guild and commit to reducing one time use plasticware sponsored by Goodwill.

Zero Waste Challenge – Learn about two women with Zero Waste West Metro who reduced their monthly household waste to the size of a mason jar.

Furoshiki Gift Wrap Demo – Learn how to wrap gifts dozens of ways with just one square cloth with Do It Green! Minnesota.

Low Waste Event Tips – Learn ways to reduce your holiday event waste with Hennepin County.

Food Waste – Learn how to reduce our refrigerator waste with Imperfect Produce.

Recycled Gift Tags – Make gift tags from reusable materials with ReUse Minnesota.


Eco Tools Display – Visit our display of Eco Tools that can be given as gifts that will help reduce our impact on the environment at the Do It Green! Minnesota booth. These items will also be up for auction in the silent auction area at 3pm.

Recycled Shirts – support Do It Green! Minnesota and the Green Gifts Fair event by purchasing a recycled tshirt and spreading the message of eco living.

Car-Sharing – Explore car-sharing and reducing your carbon-footprint with HOURCAR on an enlarged map of the Twin Cities.
