Crystal graduated from Macalester College with a degree in Environmental Studies. Growing up near the St. Croix River, she spent time exploring the nearby state parks and gained an appreciation for the natural world. She is especially curious about the ways in which people think about and interact with the environment. Crystal joined the Do it Green team in 2016 as the Green Gifts Fair volunteer coordinator. She enjoys reading, writing, and walking around to find interesting places, especially in St. Paul and Minneapolis.
