Karre grew up outside of St. Louis, Missouri where she spent her time exploring nature with her family, she moved to Minnesota in 2015 to get her Bachelors of Science from the University of Minnesota in Physical Geography and a minor in Sustainability Studies. She is specifically fascinated with urban climate and its effect on severe weather in a changing climate as well as nature/society interactions. Karre first volunteered with the Do it Green! at the 2019 Green Gifts Fair and officially joined the Do it Green! team in 2020 as the Promotions and Social Media Coordinator. Karre is a trained Climate Reality Leader and is passionate about growing community resilience to our climate crisis. She currently lives in the metro with her Partner, Nick, her cat, Hufflepuff, and her two dogs: Jack and Moose.
