Litter Be Gone is a series of community-wide litter cleanups happening October 4–13, 2018. Volunteer teams and individuals will pick up litter on their blocks, boulevards, sidewalks, streets, alleys and community green spaces before the leaves fall and snow begins to fly. Participants will receive special offers from sponsoring neighborhood businesses.
Interested volunteers can visit www.LitterBeGone.org to find a neighborhood event or register as an individual.
Events are organized by neighborhood associations with support from the Alliance for Sustainability, the City of Minneapolis, and other partners as part of the Clean City initiative. A majority of cleanup events will take place on Saturdays, October 6 and 13. Visit the website to see a map and calendar listing.
